SEALANTS

We use a variety of low to medium modulus sealants to addresses both  working and fixed joints. We frequently work with precast concrete  joints as well as EIFS joints.

For window and door perimeters that are not intended for movement, we use a variety of high modulus silicones and polyurethanes.

Sealant application is a low cost, but often overlooked, maintenance  portion of the building envelope. Unfortunately, most calls we get are  to address removal and re-application if there is pre-existing water  intrusion.

Sealant application is both a science and an art form. The science is  knowing the correct cleaning/priming procedures, joint design and  correct sealant for the job. The art form is having the skill for proper  tooling techniques that maintain aesthetic appeal.
